Our documentation is moving:

Please check for the most up-to-date LiveWhale CMS and LiveWhale Calendar documentation. The below legacy documentation will remain available as a reference until the documentation migration is complete.

Can I specify which components to use on my calendar?

Last Updated: Dec 01, 2017 12:57PM PST
Yes. In modular mode, you can take major pieces of the calendar and rearrange, repeat, or skip the modules to suit your needs using the "modular" option.

Option: modular
Default: false
Values: true/false

When using a modular calendar, the widget itself is at or near the top of the document (even prior to the DocType but after the LiveWhale PHP reference) and the components of the calendar are inserted into the page wherever the corresponding xphp variables appear.

Click on each of the links below to see how the calendar can be built upon using the following components.
Component     Description
lw_calendar Main calendar area, includes the body and header of the currently selected calendar.
lw_calendar_header Main calendar header (usually part of lw_calendar)
lw_calendar_body Main calendar body (usually part of lw_calendar)
lw_calendar_view_menu  Menu for selecting calendar’s view
lw_calendar_search Search form and wrapper
lw_calendar_categories Category selection menu
lw_calendar_tags Tags selection menu
lw_calendar_subscribe Button that toggles the display of calendar feeds
